It's All Good

"You've probably been there before- you suffer a terrible loss and a friend, eager to encourage, says, "It's ok. All things work together for your good!"

Despite the poorly timed advice, you know there is a hint of truth to it- but how? How could something so bad possibly work together for my good? Romans 8:28 is quoted by many, but more often than not, it falls on deaf ears. The ears of those who can't imagine such broken pieces forming a beautiful big picture.

"It's All Good" breaks down the true meaning of Paul's bizarre declaration that: for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

Ephesians 4:1-6

Ask yourself: Why are humans here? Why did God create us? The answer is that He had perfect fellowship before the world began and wanted to extend that fellowship to us. John 17:21-23; 1 John 1:3. What does this fellowship look like? In a broken, fragmented world, this message addresses why our unity as believers is the answer the world is looking and waiting for. Listen in and grow not just in your faith, but in your connection to all of the family of God.

Strength in Weakness

December 6, 2015

All of us feel insufficient in some area, yet God uses weakness to display both his glory and strength.

For the Apostle Paul it was his thorn in the flesh, yet for us it can be any number of things—-but in all, God wants to get glory out of us. Though our prayer is for relief from our weakness, know that God will never protect you from what he desires to perfect you through. God told Paul “my grace is sufficient for you”. Trust him in your weakness. It’s the channel to which we get His strength. Listen in to learn how!

For Your Glory

November 29, 2015

The lyrics to “For Your Glory” express an attitude of complete obedience to God and total dependence on his presence in our lives. These words are not to be taken lightly: doing anything for God means turning our backs on our own nature. But God calls us to be perfectly obedient through faith and as Christians seeking a relationship with God this must be our struggle every day.
